As we approach Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, our prefects are selling poppies at lunch time in support of the British Legion Poppy Appeal.  The red poppy is a national symbol of remembrance and hope. Wearing a poppy is a way of showing appreciation for the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, veterans and their families, both past and present.

This week we are also considering 'Remembrance' during our assemblies, as part of our 'thought for the week' and other activities within school.
