26 March 2019
This year we have held a very successful ‘STEAM Week’ in school on 13-15 March. Over the three days there were a wide variety of cross curricular learning opportunities and different activities linked to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. Pupils were learning about famous and inspiring scientists; learning about different kinds of energy; light and sound; food, nutrition, sport and our bodies; first aid; psychology; plus developing problem-solving skills, considering their goals for the future. There were also trips to the Big Bang Science Fair, farms for Engineering in Agriculture Workshops, Art Galleries and Birmingham City University to learn more about Health and Social Care. This gallery of photos gives you an insight into some of the activities that were enjoyed by our pupils.
