Activating Subscription License
Microsoft Office is licensed as a monthly subscription. After home installation, the user will need to 'activate' Office by accessing an Office application (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc…) and entering their school Office 365 username and password to verify eligibility.
After installation and activation, Office will automatically connect to the internet every 30 days to verify continued eligibility. If the user is disconnected from the internet for more than 30 days, Office will enter a reduced functionality mode until it is able to reconnect to the internet to verify eligibility.
Hodge Hill Girls' School provides it's pupil and staff with home installation of Office to support their education or work for the duration of their tenure at Hodge Hill Girls' School. When a pupil or staff member leaves Hodge Hill Girls School, their Office 365 account is closed resulting in their home installations of Office ceasing to work. Users are allowed to install Office on up to 5 devices each.
