National Careers Week 1st - 6th March 2021
National Careers Week (NCW) is a celebration of careers guidance. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support pupils leaving education. This week there will be many workshops and activities taking place, see the links below:

Employability skills sheet in planners
Pupils can complete the skills sheet in the back of your planners, giving an example of each employability skill e.g. Communication- class presentation.

Birmingham Careers Service virtual careers event (Wednesday all day)
Different Careers workshops all day.
Pathways to STEM (Wednesday 10.30-11.30)
A virtual interactive session which will feature a panel of STEM employers talking about their job roles, different pathways into STEM and the skills they have developed along the way.
Parent event (Wednesday 7-8pm)
How to break into certain Careers
Medical Mavericks (Thursday 1-1.45)
Senses Show. You will need one or two bits and pieces like a mirror and a mobile. It also works best if someone is with you like a parent or sibling.
